The laboratory conducts research related to 3D printing technology. This includes the development of equipment and materials for printing, search for new applications of 3D printing, preparation of models and software adaptation.
The laboratory also provides 3D printing services using its own equipment. Our diverse infrastructure gives us the ability to match the technology to the needs of requesting entities, determine the desired accuracy, durability, and cost.
The laboratory offers the following services, among others:
- Assistance in selection of the appropriate 3D printing method
- Thermoplastic 3D printing – FDM/FFF method
- Plaster-based 3D printing with the possibility of printing colorful, photorealistic objects – CJP method
- Photo-curable resin 3D printing – SLA method
